Terms of Service

Last updated August 2026

These terms govern your use of the Webqlix instant roof estimator. By subscribing to or using the service, you agree to them. If you’re agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you have the authority to bind it.

1. What the service is

Webqlix provides an embeddable roof estimator. It measures a roof from satellite imagery, applies pricing you configure, and shows a homeowner an estimated price range. It captures that homeowner’s contact details and delivers them to you.

The most important term on this page

The estimator produces an estimated range, not a quote, offer, or binding price. It measures from aerial imagery and cannot see decking condition, existing layers, ventilation, flashing, or anything else discovered on the roof. The range exists to qualify a lead and start a conversation. It is not a substitute for your own measured proposal, and nothing it displays creates a contract between you and a homeowner.

2. Your account

You’re responsible for the accuracy of the information you give us and for anything done under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has gained access to it.

3. Your pricing is yours

You supply the rates the estimator uses — price per square, story adder, complexity adder, waste factor, and any line items. We help you configure them, but you are solely responsible for the pricing the tool displays under your brand. We do not set your prices, verify that they are profitable, or guarantee that any estimate reflects what a job should cost.

Review your configuration whenever your costs change. The estimator quotes what you told it to.

4. Measurement accuracy

Roof measurements come from third-party satellite data. Accuracy varies with imagery quality, age, tree cover, and how a property sits on its lot. The estimator declines to price a roof when it detects that it cannot measure one reliably, and routes that homeowner to an inspection instead.

We make no warranty that any measurement is accurate for any particular property. Verify on site before committing to a price.

5. Insurance and storm work

Where a homeowner indicates the work relates to an insurance claim, the estimator shows no price and routes them to an inspection. It does not produce carrier-scope pricing and is not a claims tool. Nothing in the service constitutes public adjusting, claims negotiation, or advice about an insurance policy, and you are responsible for complying with the laws governing contractor involvement in claims in your state.

6. Leads and data

Leads captured through your estimator belong to you. We do not sell them, share them with other contractors, or use them to market to homeowners. We process them on your behalf so we can deliver them to you and email the homeowner their report.

You are responsible for how you use that information — including compliance with laws governing calls, texts, and email to consumers. Our handling is described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Acceptable use

Don’t:

Volume is intended for normal use by a single roofing company. Sustained abnormal usage may be rate-limited, and we’ll talk to you before taking any action.

8. Fees and billing

9. Availability

We aim to keep the service running and available, but we don’t promise uninterrupted operation. The service depends on third parties — mapping providers, hosting, email delivery — and their outages affect it. We may perform maintenance, and we’ll avoid business hours where we reasonably can.

10. Ownership

We own the service, its software, and everything in it. You get a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it while your subscription is active. You own your pricing configuration, your brand assets, and the leads your estimator captures.

We may use aggregated, de-identified usage data to improve the product. That never includes your pricing, your leads, or anything identifying you or a homeowner.

11. Warranty disclaimer

The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free, that measurements will be accurate, or that it will generate any particular number of leads or any revenue.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Webqlix is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost business, or lost data, arising from your use of the service — even if we were told such damages were possible.

Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

In particular, we are not liable for a job quoted or lost on the basis of an estimate the tool produced. You set the pricing and you close the job.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your use of the service, the pricing you configure, your communications with homeowners, or your breach of these terms.

14. Termination

You may cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, and will give notice and an opportunity to fix the problem where circumstances allow.

On termination, your estimator stops working and your embed no longer renders. We’ll provide an export of your leads on request within 30 days of closure, after which we delete them as described in the Privacy Policy.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated to active subscribers with at least 30 days’ notice, and continued use after they take effect means you accept them.

16. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Franklin County, Ohio, and both parties consent to that jurisdiction.
