Privacy Policy

Webqlix builds lead-capture tools for contractors. This policy explains what we collect, why, and who else touches it. We don’t sell personal information, we don’t share it for advertising, and we don’t give one contractor access to another’s leads.
Who this covers
Two different groups of people reach us, and we handle their information differently.
- Contractors — roofing companies who visit webqlix.com, request information, or subscribe to the estimator. You are our customer.
- Homeowners — people who use a contractor’s estimator on that contractor’s website. You are the contractor’s customer. We process your information on their behalf and at their direction.
If you used a roof estimator on a contractor’s website, that contractor is the one who holds your information and decides what happens to it. We built and run the tool. Your request to see, correct or delete your information should go to that contractor first — and if you’d rather come to us, we’ll pass it along and help them action it.
What we collect
From contractors
- Name, company name, email address, and phone number if you give it, when you request information through a form on this site.
- Billing details if you subscribe. Card numbers are handled by our payment processor and never reach our servers.
- Configuration you provide for your estimator — pricing, service area, contact details, branding.
From homeowners using a contractor’s estimator
- The property address entered, and the roof measurements derived from it.
- Answers to the estimator’s questions — stories, layers, chimneys, skylights, outbuildings, and whether the job relates to an insurance claim.
- Name, email address and phone number when submitted to receive a report.
- Where an insurance claim is indicated, the carrier name, claim status and date of loss if provided. We never ask for a policy number.
Automatically, on this website
- Standard server logs: IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps.
- Analytics events through Google Analytics, deployed via Google Tag Manager.
Why we collect it
- To run the estimator — measuring a roof requires sending the address to a mapping provider and getting geometry back.
- To deliver leads — notifying the contractor and emailing the homeowner their report is the entire point of the product.
- To operate and improve the service — understanding where the tool fails to measure a roof, or where people abandon the flow.
- To communicate — responding when a contractor asks about the product.
- To bill — processing subscription payments.
Who else touches it
We do not sell personal information and we do not share it with advertisers, data brokers, or other contractors. We do use service providers to run the product, and information necessarily passes through them. They act on our instructions and may not use it for their own purposes.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights, safety, or property. If our business is ever sold or merged, information may transfer as part of that transaction; we would tell you before it changed how your information is handled.
Cookies and analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, deployed through Google Tag Manager, to understand traffic and how pages are used. That sets cookies and collects device and usage information. You can opt out using Google’s browser add-on, or block cookies in your browser settings.
The estimator itself uses no advertising cookies and no cross-site tracking. It stores a short-lived session identifier so a homeowner’s answers stay connected across the steps of a single visit.
How long we keep it
- Lead information — kept for as long as the contractor’s subscription is active, since it is their customer record. After an account closes we delete or return it on request, and otherwise remove it within 90 days.
- Roof measurements — cached for up to 90 days so re-running the same address doesn’t repeat a paid lookup.
- Enquiries — kept while we’re in contact and for a reasonable period afterwards.
- Server logs — a short rolling window, typically 30 days.
Your choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to see the personal information we hold, correct it, delete it, or object to certain processing. Some states also give you the right not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Email info@webqlix.com and we’ll action it. If your request concerns information collected through a contractor’s estimator, we’ll route it to that contractor, since it is their record.
Security
Traffic is encrypted in transit. Access to production systems is limited to people who need it. Payment card details never reach our servers. We deliberately do not collect insurance policy numbers, because the safest way to protect a piece of sensitive data is not to hold it.
No system is perfectly secure, and we won’t claim otherwise.
Children
This service is for businesses and homeowners. It is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we’ll delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy we’ll update the date at the top. Material changes affecting how we handle information will be communicated to active subscribers directly.
